Carol Kelly is honored to be hosting this year’s Prepare For Winter Dinner. Carol is an active and well-respected broker in the Cambridge real estate community since 1981. A longtime Cambridge resident herself, Carol specializes in Cambridge/Boston and the surrounding communities. She has served as a President of the Cambridge Community of Realtors. She is now delighted to have started her own team, The Carol Kelly Team, at the groundbreaking Compass Real Estate. 

A passionate believer in giving back and promoting cancer research, Carol is the serves in leadership roles at a Foundation at the Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine started in memory of her beloved mother. In addition, she is a member of the Leadership Board of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). She is the very proud mother of Christopher Kelly, 39, who grew up in Cambridge and now resides in Miami, Florida.

Her relationship with On The Rise began more than 15 years ago, as a supporter of various program initiatives, volunteer needs, and events such as the Prepare For Winter Dinner. Since then, she has tirelessly continued to connect numerous people to On The Rise’s unique relationship-based approach to ending homelessness.

Carol Goss is On The Rise's first Board Member Emerita in its 24-year history. She was elected into the role in early 2019 after thirteen years of distinguished service as Chair of the Board of Directors. Carol has a long history of working with nonprofits in management positions, as a board member, and as a development consultant. She has consulted to Boston area nonprofits and educational institutions on a wide variety of projects, including capital campaigns, annual funds, development and communication strategy, as well as Board governance. During Carol's leadership tenure, the Prepare For Winter Dinner grew larger in size and funds raised, each year. Carol is currently working as a personal/professional coach, after completing her training at the Coaches Training Institute, with accreditation from the International Coaching Federation. She is happy to call Cambridge her home.
